iPod Anyone in UK received their iPod with video yet?

I just called TNT - apparently my delivery is due to reach me on the 26th. :(

How come it's so slow to get to the UK?

Kinda lost the buying excitement with it taking so long..!
 
Ok... I dont know if this is a good idea or not... but everyone post their delivery tnt status's and we'll try to determine how long there is between each stage.

So roughly 20 Hours (more than most!) between those two points....

ok so roughly two days between shanghai and somewhere else.... or around 42ish hours.

Damn, mines only just left shanghai!

how do you all know yours are in shang?

all i have is C9****** as a reference, says shipped but cant find anywhere to help track it lol
that link that was posted didint recognise my number either, any one give some advise? :)

TNT hasn't picked it up yet.
 
Mine's still got Shipment picked up Shanghai,China 19 Oct 2005 01.11 gmt.
The other link for tracking doesn't recognise my shipment. What's taking so long ????? :(
 
The other link needs a 10-digit number that starts with '80' just look in the order status page or the e-mail you received when your iPod shipped.

Eugh it's taking ages.. Why is it so slow for us in the UK?
 
Got my black 60 gig yesterday but it was DOA :( its going back to apple this week, gotta wait till first week of november now for replacement..

Yeah that's what I use but it doesn't recognise my number.

Strange, I've found with all of my orders that arrive from the Far East this tracker finds them all the way. It could be that the courier hasn't synced the scanned packages properly and it's not showing up as moving. Either that, or there's mucho delay-o.

Waiting is the hardest part!
 
Exactly why i HATE ordering stuff online....

the internets great..... but not for buying stuff, then, its just plain rubbish
 
OK, another way is to go the US store, log in to your account and go to order status. Try and track your order there, it tends to have a better courier relationship.

As for ordering online, I have spent well over £2,000 and have only been let down once by a company I bought a £10 belt from, luck of the draw I guess...

I'm in exactly the same boat.. I'd wager we're in the same shipment.

It was Saturday night it went to shipped so I imagine what happened is that someone put it in a box and put the order to shipped then went home for the night and noone actually picked it up :D I imagine it'll be updated tomorrow (Monday) morning.
 
yeah i think thats when mine was updated too. in the same boat... literally probabaly :p

probs get an update tomorrow, end of the week delivery probabaly :(
 
I honestly never knew they were being shipped directly from China, how come there not here yet in the UK (online store wise)? I was gutted to find out mine was shipped but I have to wait another week or so! :(

(My first post btw, yay :p)
