Suddenly, if you put it like that, certainly £50 per photo per person looks like nothing.

Still, I doubt anyone would buy it 'just' for a wallpaper. I think the guy could make some money if he put it on the App store or something as a wallpaper for $5 (and thus a limited license).

Looks like the only option is to buy it. I'm going to the apple store tomorrow so I'll try my luck tomorrow.

Went to a best buy today and the display model seemed right out of the box. no software installed, including aperture. :/
