Clearly there's an actual provided example where that isn't the case. Creating hypothetical improbable scenarios that might somehow make it fit in with a conjecture makes it all quite a ways away from "period", let alone "PERIOD".

WRONG. Verizon is longer than at&t and it doesn’t scroll all the time.
Same time as yesterday and it’s scrolling. There has to be a reason why....It’s NOT cause it has too lol
It’s NOT carrier update
It’s NOT WiFi Calling (turned off and not on WiFi)
Maybe a notification of some kind - maybe..

Not sure. But I did change my background to a dark one earlier in the day. Doubt it’s cause of the black background but it is still doing it and it’s never lasted this long.

20 minutes, Good Grief! I have only caught my MAX doing it out of the corner of my eye. Never seen it do it constantly!
I might make an appointment with Apple to see if mine is defective!

Mines been scrolling (each time I checked) for 2hrs now. Not sure if constant or not
