I'm in a rural area west of Indianapolis so no LTE, heck I'm lucky to get 3g. At home Edge is the only thing available.

Heh, you guys are spoiled. My home town (where I spend most of my day) has only EDGE! It's snappy for EDGE but still pretty slow.

There's only a couple towns in the state with LTE and I'm nowhere near them.

On the bright side, most of the network is HSPA+ ("4G") just a tower or two here still running EDGE and wouldn't you know it that's where I be LOL...

Verizon has LTE in Lexington, KY but I'm on AT&T which only has HSPA+ here. When I bought my 5 at AT&T on Friday multiple reps said that Lexington would be getting LTE by the end of the year, even though Lexington isn't listed on the "Coming Soon" list of LTE cities. Hopefully the reps were right! Can't wait for faster-than-my-home-wifi data speeds :)

Fellow sad Madisonite here. Milwaukee and Green Bay are scheduled for LTE by the end of the year so we'll hopefully be next!
Just took a trip up to Green Bay today for work and the LTE signal is up, and it is FAST! I am getting 23.71 down and 14.16 up.

Now they just need to get Milwaukee up and running!

I have Verizon, and I don't have LTE. I live in Shongaloo, LA (a village of 150 people)..so we are fortunate to have 3G. LTE is about 20 miles away, and it shouldn't take long to get to my neck of the woods.

Scottsdale, AZ here, LTE pretty much everywhere except inside my apartment. Walk outside, boom, LTE. I'm moving this weekend though and hopefully my new place will have LTE inside.
Edit: Verizon LTE here, 5 bars of LTE resulted in 31mbs download, 15mbs upload. I'll take that.

Fresno is just "by the end of 2013". Sucks because Bakersfield and Modesto have it already.

yeah that sucks. why is Fresno so late? I'd think we are bigger than both Bakersfield and Modesto. Plus with Verizon having LTE here, you'd think AT&T would want to get in on the action. I can't wait to use this phone on LTE.

I've fought with myself over this and its hard to come to a conclusion.

AT&T isn't available in my area (Jersey Shore/Central Jersey) and there isn't a time table written but I do see a green dot on the map for future coverage. That being said, I look at Verizon's LTE map near me and it shows all this LTE coverage around me but from experience of friends and family that isn't the case. In fact the areas that have absolutely no service (I'm talking ZERO) are listed as having LTE on the coverage map.

I dislike AT&T but I have a feeling that when they roll out LTE to more locations it'll be faster. Until then, I'm happy with HSPA+. It's much faster than what I would get with 3G on Verizon. A friend of mine said "LTE is great when you have it but when you don't, 3G is useless."

If by the 5s there isn't any coverage for AT&T, I'm leaving. By then I hope Verizon will support Voice over LTE.

No AT&T LTE in western New York. Biggest reason yet not to buy any LTE AT&T phone right now and in the forseeable future.

Burlington, VT

No AT&T LTE here unfortunately. Not sure of any timetable for it if there even is one.

No LTE in Lexington, KY, but coming to Louisville end of this year....

I'm near Salem Oregon. I'm not sure if there's AT&T lte anywhere in Oregon yet. Maybe Portland.

I'm getting 3-5 mbs where I use my phone the most. The phone is crazy fast compared to my iPhone 4.

I just check the ATT site today. It has the updated LTE coverage map. It looks like it doesn't quite make it to Salem. arrgh.

no AT&T LTE here in southern New Jersey, although their site says "coming soon" for Atlantic City.. :(

No AT&T LTE here in Norfolk, VA.

Verizon has had LTE here for about a year now, but only on *some* towers.

If you're near an LTE tower, it's smoking fast. Chances are you're between the LTE towers, and it's about as fast as AT&T HSPA+ is. It's not unusual to get 1-2 bars of Verizon LTE coverage here, in which case it's 1-3mbps down, which is slower than ATTs HSPA+ network here.

And god help you if you fall back to Verizon's 3G network here. 512 kbps down on that is great.
