>>>(KC) The closest thing to a PC I have is my Xbox....GameCube: Doesn't have the DVD player version outside Japan, and only 450MHz.
>>(ackpth) and you call yourself an apple fan? everyone *knows* that mhz dont matter
>(Taft) Thats sooooo true. And the Gamecube is a 450MHz PowerPC (of the G3 family, in fact), so compared to a 733 MHz pentium, it stacks up pretty well. Even if the Gamecube isn't quite as fast as the XBox, it stilll kicks a lot of butt.
Guys, I was well aware of the GameCube having a G3 at the time, but I wanted something other than a computer DVD player. I think the GameCube
might have the advantage in speed, because it's a G3, but I did not want to purchase something with 300MHz (PS2).
My cousin has both PS1 and PS2, and the graphics on PS1 are not exactly impressive. PS2 didn't seem to bad, but my cousin was playing a graphics-nonintensive game, so it looked smooth.
To get back on topic,
again...
Yeah, .Mac sort of came as a disappointment. Even though I don't care for putting up stuff on the internet (except of course on the forums) some others do, and they may not be willing to keep certain add-ons/rare files on their website. So they vanish, never to come back.
Also, I realize Jaguar is a whole system Rev., but I still think $129 is a tad expensive. I don't see why $99 wouldn't work.
