I was anticipating, but then lost interest....over the long.....years.....

Anyway, I have a rPro 15 and need the real estate.

I went through all the Air's and hated (the now obsolete) screen experience; even
the non-IPS monitors are mostly better than the Air's screen these days, even thought the 13"
is bright.

Move ahead to this announcement, and it's coming late as far as i'm concerned.

I may get one, just out of spite (seriously ).

I'm sure i'll love it though

I think I'm getting one too. I'm debating whether to sell my 2012 15" rMBP or just buy this one in addition. I already have 3 family iMacs at home though, so I don't know what I'd do with 2 notebooks. First world problems.

Yes, I was wanting it to go as small and thin as possible, power and ports not an issue for me at all.

I think it looks fantastic - I'm sure everyone who buys it will enjoy it however checking the site everyday to look at a laptop seems a bit odd. I need ports though so will stick with rMBP. I like the illuminated Apple logo too
