If so how is the protection. Ive had a silicone for my x but the only thing i didnt like was the open bottom. Might get me a saddle brown leather for my max.
Just ordered the saddle brown leather case for my Xs Max. Never owned an Apple case before and I figured for $10 more the saddle brown leather would be worth it over the silicone cases. I read it may be slippery at first but can look pretty cool when it begins aging.

Saddle brown for my Max will be here tomorrow. I have been using saddle brown since the 6Plus. First case covered 6Plus and 6S Plus. Second covered 7Plus and 8Plus. So I already knew I was getting one for the Max. They are slippery at first, like be careful slippery but they break in soon enough. The best part is the patina over time. My two year old case is very dark brown at this point but I have no complaints.

Got my black leather Apple Max (LOL) case today. It smelled very, very strongly of glue for a while, so it was a good afternoon. It does not seem terribly slippery, albeit these cases have never been tremendously grippy.

I love the "dirty" patina as well. It seems to be a look that people either love or hate.

essential gear. I've dropped mine in the garage getting out the car-no damage.

Also, it's very classy. Best case scenario, so to speak :D

BTW, that blue case looks awesome.

I love the Apple leather cases but damn they are slippery. I’ve dropped my 8+ in 2 of them. The drop ruined the first one.
Completely agree. I loved the color of a leather one last year, but the grippiness level with the silicone is so perfect. For me it's not too much, not too little.

An iPhone is slippery as a piece of soap. I'd never buy a case that is still slippery, which eliminates many cases except for Apple's silicone cases.

I'd love to find a clear case that is less slippery for my incoming gold Xs max than ones I've tried in earlier years. I'm smitten by the gold.

I've not wanted a clear case before so that I don't telegraph I have an Apple vs an Android. I travel a lot solo for work. I've learned it's best to stay low key about what tech I have. Once you realize you were made a "mark" for something someone notices you have or who you are, it changes your behavior. If the right clear case comes along I'll definitely leave it in my purse more when in similar situations.

I can't wait to see the gold iPhone. But right now it will become immediately covered up by the Blue Horizon case that arrives tomorrow.

The Cosmos Blue Leather Case for my iPhone X is the best iPhone case I have ever purchased. Buy one—they are nice! I really want to check out that Forest Green one and possibly buy it for my XS.

Got mine yesterday morning.

Now that I’m home from work, I’ve seen my cape cod blue case in person. Love it! The blue is lighter than the darker blue one that I had on my 6+. I’m wondering what others think here? Is the leather of these cases softer now? It seems to have a really soft feel, like the iPad Pro sleeve leather. I don’t think that the leather cases that I had in the past felt the same, they were more hard and slick feeling. Wondering if I’m just imaging that?

Part of mine comes from the phone being with me at times I sweat. It used to have it in my pocket when I was in the yard all summer but with the watch 3, no need any longer. Generally, I do like how leather ages over time.

I ordered a saddle brown but I'm having second thoughts. Have any of you ever used a leather SENA case and if so how's it compare to apple's? I think I like the look of their leather better than the smooth apple leather but I haven't heard much about them.

I was used my X with saddle brown leather case . After about 4 months, the brown turn in to another color which make it look more nice than the new one.

So , I pre order another leather case with saddle brown for my Xs Max

Evo
What color is that? It’s interesting that the leather looks different than my saddle brown i just got, I like the textured look much better than the super smooth version I have.

Yep, XS Max Leather, Forest Green. The last time I did an Apple leather case was with my 5S years ago. I liked it a lot, and lasted through 2 years of tough usage.

Here’s the cases I bought for now. Apple silicone stone and this otterdox night glow traction. May get me a leather later sometime but for now I got these.

I just ordered the taupe leather case for my XS . It should get a nice patina like the saddle colour.
