Mine said the same when ordering but when you check your order status, it should say free expedited delivery between 9/21 to 9/28. It also says the dates could change. This means it's possible you could receive it on launch day. Also, did they also raise your pricing plan and assign your watch a separate phone number in your 2nd email from them?

Anyone order Apple Watch 3 Cellular from AT&T, overpriced plan?

I have the Att Unlimited Plus plan with 5 lines. I added 2 lines for my apple watch and my wife's and was charged 10.00 each for the access fee. I did see in the summary before placing my order that they waived the 2 25.00 activation fees. And im assuming I will be getting the 30.00 credit for each watch for the 3 months free service. I was assigned 2 different phone numbers for each watch. But will be linking the watches to our iPhones using the ATT NumberSync process.
I talked to AT&T chat and they're clueless. Not sure if I should move back to my single line $95 unlimited plan from the $135 multi-line plan they put me on for the watch, or if I should wait till I get the watch in my hands and ask for a prorate for the costlier plan?
It seems that the AT&T pre-ordering does not work on the Safari browser. Try Chrome, and you'll be able to pre-order.
Ordering through them was a pain. I wish they would’ve had the installment option on Apple’s site. I’m definitely preordering my X from Apple.
I ended up getting mine through Best Buy. Hopefully when it comes to activation the process wont be so bad.

It's a nightmare right now. I have called ATT a couple of times and keep getting different answers. I have the old school unlimited data plan and was told I had to switch...then I did not...then my price went up $20 instead of $10....then they said they don't have all the details yet. No one knew about the $55 promotion either. One said $25 activation fee, other said $55.
I just bought the Watch from BH Photo to save on taxes and will walk into the ATT store and tell them I am paying $10 a month more and to make it work cause I am not changing plans or paying more.

On another thread a poster claimed that you can't add it online with the old unlimited plans (only the new unlimited plans), but that he was able to get an AT&T store rep to add it manually. I'll try that after mine arrives from Apple on Friday.
