Do we have any reason to believe Apple will sell factory unlocked ones from the get-go?

Here in the UK the iPhone 4 was available from Apple factory unlocked at launch. I would imagine they will do the same with the next one at least here. I know in the US it was only a few months ago they offered it unlocked and not from launch. I'm intending to get the new one factory unlocked just like I did with the iPhone 4.

I'll be preordering online simply because people occasionally receive it early.
 
If it's the legendary iPhone 5, I will be camping out and pre-ordering online for the first time.

If it's the 4S, I'll only think about buying it when my 3GS breaks down.

It's legendary alright, hyped via smoke & mirrors.
