Of course there are. Quite a few people run older model iPhones.Anyone else out there thinking this same way?
Lag isn't guaranteed.Do people enjoy laggy phones?
Subjective matters. Not to mention that not all 4s users are on HSPA+. LTE would be a major improvement for me.I mean does the 5 (or soon to be 5S) really make THAT much an improvement over the 4S to justify a new contract for a $650 phone? The only "significant" improvement that I see in the 5 is the inclusion of LTE... yet stat geeks treat LTE like it really makes a difference in real world performance vs HSPA+
People do that though they tend to lease. Never assume that your preferences are universal. If not upgrading works for you, great. Doesn't mean that it works for everyone.Exactly. Why continuously upgrade if you have a device that works fine already? That would be like me buying a car and then 2 years later upgrading to a new one because of a couple new small improvements.
It does but only on a very limited basis. That tends to be the case with most analogies though. They're both assets with relatively quick depreciation and typically minor changes from year to year with major revisions being less frequent.Never compare the iPhone to a car like you did a few posts up there. The car analogy does not/has not ever made sense in here.
Of course they are. It's not an analogy if the two things are the same. And by the way, the car analogy is terrible. Phones and cars are COMPLETELY different products.
