I too have had a Studio display for about two years now but I just can't stand the small screen size. Would you still choose the dell over the ASD now that you've been using it for almost two months? My biggest concerns are, is it as bright as ASD and is it as crisp as ASD? Thanks in advance! Thanks for your comments. I have already bought the Dell 4025QW. It's at my place and the Studio Display can move out. The Dell is almost perfect and it's a real pleasure to use it. My eyes are also no longer so strained. The sharpness scaled to 3840x1620 is not as high as the Apple display, but that's not a big difference. I would buy the Dell again - really a great monitor.
Are you far sighted by any chance? I am and looknig to find the right monitor for me.The display is not as sharp as the Studio Display – I use it scaled. Nevertheless, I find it comfortable and am pleased with the amount of space it provides. I can easily view documents, browsers, and Teams, which is truly convenient. I am also satisfied with the brightness, but I have had the Studio Display set to a maximum of 30% or so. I would buy the Dell 4025 again. It works flawlessly with my Macbook Pro with M1Pro and also with my M4Pro Macbook.
I wear readers and need them for any size monitor I'm in front of.Are you far sighted by any chance? I am and looknig to find the right monitor for me.
How do you like your U3824DW or U4025QW? Any issues?People that have tried both Dell U3824DW and U4025QW, did you notice a difference in sharpness?
Can't say for U4025QW, but I've had U3824DW for a while and I couldn't stand non retina native resolution on this one. Lots of real estate, but the picture (especially fonts) was too grainy. I've downsized to 34" LG 5K2K and I am waiting for more wide availability of flat 40" 5K2K monitors. So far, there are only two of those on the market: one from INNOCN and another one from Alogic. I would prefer to buy one from more renowned company than those, like Dell or ASUS. We shall see if there are any new models shown on upcoming CES 2026...How do you like your U3824DW or U4025QW? A new 40" 5K2K display came out a few weeks in the form of the LG 40WT95UF.Can't say for U4025QW, but I've had U3824DW for a while and I couldn't stand non retina native resolution on this one. Thanks. I’d rather have a flat one, hence the wait. Otherwise, I would have bought the Dell.A new 40" 5K2K display came out a few weeks in the form of the LG 40WT95UF.
That's using the same panel as the 4025, right? They have slightly different specs though, the LG has lower contrast and brightness for instance.A new 40" 5K2K display came out a few weeks in the form of the LG 40WT95UF.
