What do you guys think?

Personally I think spending an extra $100 on 16gb of memory a total lube job by Apple so I simply refuse to get anything more than the base model.

I can't encourage shady business practices like these, especially ones that rip me off without enough benefit.

The people who run out of memory on their phones are simply being clutter-bugs with music. Just plug your phone into iTunes and load up which songs you want at the time. When you want something different simply plug it in again and switch it up. Easy.

I'm the opposite. Ordered a 32gb iPhone. But wish I had saved the money and bought a 16gb. I stream on spotify so no space for music is required. And I hardly use any memory hogging apps. Instead I'll be buying a 32gb iPad next year. Now that I run out of space. My iPad will always get more use than my iPhone when at home.

I always went for the biggest memory but this time have gone for the 16GB. With unlimited data and Spotify I don't need much storage space.

Get the biggest you can afford. Period.

Biggest mistake I made when buying my 4s was that I had ordered a 32 GB and asked a couple of people about it, changed my mind and got a 16 gig.

Honestly, the lack of space on my phone is one of the biggest driving factors forcing my upgrade to the 5. I went with 64-gig this time around and would have gone with the 128 if the offered it.

The following is true for me (maybe you too):
-- My music collection tends to grow, not shrink.
-- The camera on these things is getting better = better quality, larger file size pictures.
-- Ditto for vids.
-- Related to the above: I tend to take more pics/vids as my kid gets older (and I'm sure when we have another) and as the quality becomes better, it makes me want to use it more.
-- I'm guessing these apps will start growing in size... just a guess though.
