Nope.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. It's on the floor so I rarely actually see my tower anyway.

I suspect the whining about no new look is mostly from people who don't own a mac pro and never will.

No, I love the design - it reeks of class and is an absolute timeless classic. It's physically very rugged too, which is nice.

Of course there's the chance they come with an even better design but that's a risk isn't it...

After seeing what they did to the iMac, I am more relieved than sad. This thing is beautiful and its form supports its function in every way. Thank god it doesn't have glass or black accents. Blech!

Anyone who lived through the nightmare of upgrading older Macs (especially the toaster models!) will absolutely LOVE the fact that the MacPro is still the easiest computer around to swap out drives and RAM.

Sure the design has been around for years, but it's rough, rugged, cool, and NOT plastic! Reminds me of my first car - an old, 1967 VW Bug that my Dad bought me for $400. It had a metal dashboard instead of the split and faded plastic ones that came later. Speaking of VW Bugs, how many years did that loveable shape live? It wasn't pretty, but it was, and still is, uniquely iconic.

Great designs can be described by one simple word: Classic!

Bravo, Apple!:D
