OP, why would you want to pass the best iPhone yet, and get the most negatively received iPhone? Makes no senese.
I've been waiting for the ip5 since the ip4 underwhelmed me over a year ago. I briefly thought about getting the 4 when the white one came out, but it's like "why bother?" at this point? It's almost a matter of principle at this point to wait, and not succumb to the ip4 that remains prominently displayed, as we continue to WAIT for the ip5.
With the way things go for me, the minute I would finally decide to just go ahead and get down on the 4, they would announce the 5 the following week. So no, I'm going to continue to hold out and keep using my 3GS from launch day 2009, until the 5 comes out.

No, I've waited 9 months so that would be ridiculous. However I am seriously thinking about just getting a Samsung Galaxy S2 now, it's a great phone as I've played around with it a lot so I might just bite the bullet. Will save me a few hundred quid too...

Grabbed some 4's for employees of mine over the summer out of necessity, but I'm personally looking forward to the 5! I haven't been crazy about the design of the 4....even though it looks good.
