I saw it last night. i thought it was solid movie and had storylines which could lead into other films. loved the action scenes, thought the acting was great. also liked how this did tie into the other x-mens.

im not die hard comic guy so i don't know what was wrong, changed or missing.

that all said, it didn't blow me away, but it was a solid effort and a good, entertaining movie.

the little boy in me left wanting more out of pure selfishness :)

Did anyone stay for after the credits? It was a bit pointless.

Compared to what previous X-Men films have "revealed" during the credit roll it was a bit of a let down. I just hope they don't make another Wolverine movie - I loved this one but his story is done now. The events perfectly lead up to the first movie and that's all we wanted.

Just saw it. Generally liked it. But I am always annoyed in movies like these over small film-making flaws that bring you back to real life, like Wolverine's having apparently gotten a haircut between battle scenes while he was frantically trying to find and kill his brother, or his riding off into the sunset at the end of the movie on the motorcycle that got destroyed earlier in the movie (he jumped off of it going maybe 50 mph, which I think would have made it un-rideable).

I saw the movie last weekend. For the most part, it stayed true to the comic storyline as far as I could tell.

In fact, you can watch most of the entire movie's storyline in a 20 minute episode of the X-Men cartoon.

I liked it, but deep down I wish they would do a proper Phoenix/Dark Phoenix movie.

The next X-Men Origins is about Magneto, and movies about the original X-Men (First Class) and "Deadpool" from this movie are both in "development."

Yeah, evidently, Ryan Reynolds in his own Deadpool movie is confirmed.

I am nowhere close to being a fan of Ryan Reynolds, but when I recognized him as Deadpool, I thought that was just perfect casting. There's nobody more suited to the role. Deadpool was one of my favorite Marvel characters, if for no other reason that he knew he was a comic book character. I can't believe will.i.am's Wraith, a minor character, got more lines that THE Marvel motormouth.

Well thanks for the heads up to stay after the credits. (I usually just pile out of the cinema if the credits don't prove interesting after the first 30 seconds )

So this leaked movie - was it the same as what is in the cinema currently? I thought I had heard scenes or graphics or something was not right.
