Personally I think the S was a bit of a yawn upgrade. The free 3.0 update added much more than the 3G S does for hundreds of £s. I'll quite happily wait for the 4th iPhone

Try one, you'll be impressed with the speed. The faster components make a huge difference.

I absolutely love my 3G phone and am not upgrading to 3GS

I have seen the threads about how much faster 3GS is and all that

I just can't afford the full price one year after my last phone.

The 3G phone gives me everything I need so I will stick around for next year's phone

My question is: Seriously, how busy is everyone that waiting for three seconds is so terrible? I actually decided to buy a 3G--even though I was eligible for the upgrade pricing on the 3GS, because all the 3GS did was stuff I didn't need. But the speed thing is what gets me: really, the 3G loads stuff really fast. I don't see how any FASTER is so awesome.

Because the 3G doesn't load things that fast. It hangs and pauses, and a lot of apps take a long time to open. The 3GS solves all of that.

I absolutely love my 3g :D I am not interested in video recording or a compass. I admit I am jealous of the 3gs being a little faster, but it's not worth the unsubsidized price for me. So I will happily enjoy my beloved 3g until I can get the 3gs for cheap :)
