What did you do?

Btw, I thought the 6 and 6+ has pretty much the same battery life regarding "screen on" usage. 6+ only wins on talk time, when the creek is turned off..

In real world it's vastly different between 6+ and 6. My girlfriend has a 6 she comes nowhere near my battery life and I use mine a lot more with my watch and running an online business.

I'm still amazed how could you so much battery. Lol

Same boat here.
Plus is definitely good, but sometimes still too big for one handed operations. Everytime I went to Apple Store and play with with 6, I was amazed how comfortable it is to hold a 6.

Though I will miss 1080p screen for perfect movie watching and optical image stabilization

Horizontal home screen "never existed" for me lol

It is what I'm doing despite the fact that my vision isn't great. I haven't been using anything more than a 4.7" android smartphone and have avoided my Plus the last two weeks just to see if I can make do with the screen. Hasn't really been a big problem, the benefit of the smaller size portability is winning me over. Hated the lump in my pocket to tell the truth with the Plus.

Yeah, it sounds like it won't be a good match for me. I decided to cancel my order for the 6s+ and get the 6s. Interestingly, I did that today and I got a ship date of Sept 24.
Which model/color 6S are you going for? I went with a 128GB rose gold.

Right now I'm on a 6+ and have both a 6S and 6S+ coming. So its just a matter of which I'm keeping and which the wife gets.

I've used both the 6 and 6+. What it comes down to is performance (the 6 is noticeably less laggy than the 6+), one-handed usability, battery (the 6+ gets me a day while the 6 would require an external battery every day), screen (the 6+ has a noticeably sharper screen), and thermals (6+ runs cooler than the 6). Both have quite large tradeoffs between each other, so a test drive on both is probably the best option.

6 -> 6S+

Last year ordered a 6+ space grey to upgrade my 5S Gold, it was way to big a jump, and so returned it, and got a 6 silver. Have ordered a 6S+ Silver, as it doesn't seem such a big upgrade this time, and my old eyes will thank me for it. Luckily had an issue with my 6 a few weeks back, and it was replaced under warranty.

6+ to 6s, love the screen on 6+ but day to day usage, it's too unwieldy for me.

6 to 6 plus. I couldn't decide last year and ultimately decided that during the S year, getting the bigger screen would feel like s bigger upgrade.

you are doing something wrong. My 6 Plus that I have been using for a few weeks kills my 6 which I used for almost a year.

anyone switching from plus to 6s, or anyone switching from 6 to 6s plus?
What are your reasons?

Edit:
Ok I see a lot of you saying upgrading from 5/5s. So let me put it this way.
This is NOT a thread/poll to see 4.7 or 5.5 which is more popular,
But to see after about one year, which model gained more "loyal" users.
Really, a lot of problem doesn't come up without an extensive period of usage.
Like me, at first I see 6+, God, OIS plus a 1080p screen, I'd go for it. But now I've preordered the smaller 6s. It's more "handy", feels more comfortable. OIS and 1080p screen is just not worth loosing this comfort.

So, guys with 6/6+, let us know what you think, are you happy with your current screen size or not, and why

I'm going from 6 --> 6s plus. :rolleyes:

6 --> 6s+

Reasons:
*Battery, i had a mophie pack on my 6 and the extra hour or two battery life should mean i no longer need one.
*College, i upgraded my iPad mini to an air 2, but sometimes just need to quickly look at a few things in my online college books so the screen size will be nice for that.
* Because why not. I originally got the 6 because i felt the 6+ was to big. Now that i have the watch, i pull my phone out of my pocket less for checking emails and texts, so i think ill be good. I have rather large hands, it was more of why would i want to deal with that huge phone all the time.

Although I have been thinking about going larger, but decided not to actually do that. The bigger display would be great, but carrying it with me will be a disaster then. Sometimes I already find trouble getting my iPhone 6 into my pocket. xD

No, I'm staying with the 4.7-inch model. It's totally fine to me. And after all, it is a €100 cheaper as well. :p

Trying the switch from 6 to 6S+ although I'm keeping the option to return in within 14days.
I think the 6 is a perfect size/portability ratio, but whenever I see/use a 6+ I'm craving for the bigger screen.
Although I am not watching anything (series or movies) on my phone I just love the big screen.
So it will be just down to if it doesn't bother me in my pockets in everyday life - and I guess to know that, you need to give it a try in your everyday routine.

Going from 6+ to 6s. It was just too massive. When hiking it gets annoying so I usually put it in my bag. When running I have to have a belt. When at the gym its too awkward, so I used my old nano. It's just too much. I did enjoy it and will miss the screen size at times, but I think I will be happier with something more managable.

6+ to 6s. I am tired of this brick in my pocket. Since I now need glasses for either size iPhone, I'd rather have a pocket phone. My rMB provides me with everything else I need on the go.

All of sudden to got a lot of 6+-->6s switchers. Lol

And watch what happens after folks actually get theirs, it will be like last year with threads all over the place about the Plus being too big and the 6s being too small.

For me to go from a Plus to the 6s Plus while I obviously understand the benefits of the newer Plus iPhones, after dealing with the prior Plus and its size it is "been there and done that". 6s all the way!

Kinda confused. You going to plus or s?

That why I posted this thread. After living one year with your iPhone, how you feel about it.
