Anyone Try: 3G Unrestrictor + Facetime?

Thank you for the explanation, makes good sense.
As stated earlier, I too can initiate a FaceTime but the request never reaches the recipient, failing 100% of the time for me so far. I haven't been able to find a fix for this.
I guess at this point I’m looking for a helpful diagnosis of why this isn’t working for me.

When you try to do FT over Wifi, does it work without any issue?

some people have reported that issue with regular facetime usage.

Try reseting network settings and rebooting

It does work... But there's a problem with it... Add FaceTime to the unrestricted list... Then try and make a call... It's going to fail, but then go back to 3G Unrestrictor and remove FaceTime from It... Here's The Trick!!! Even though FaceTime was removed from the list, get out of unrestrictor, and attempt ur call again! TADA!!! it works!!! But... U gotta do that each time u reboot ur phone!!! ENJOY!!! it took me 3 hours to figure that out... But I was facetiming all day at work!!!

I tried this a few times with fail. Just for kicks I repeated these steps once again and it worked!

I would also like to report that FaceTime over 3G does work. Me and my cousin just tried it after the 3G Unrestrictor update and it works flawlessly.

I didn't have any problems with this at all. Installed 3G Unrestrictor, added YouTube, Phone (FaceTime), iTunes and App Store, resprung, made an FT call over 3G, then received an FT call over 3G.

Done.

I had been able to successfully use FaceTime over wifi. Only when I disabled wifi had I been having issues. The successful test was done with the following settings steps (reiterating iWebz post above (thanks!))

Wifi = Off
3gU Phone(facetime) added to list
3gU Phone(facetime) removed from list
3gU left open (home button pressed to get to main screen)
Initiated a FT from 3g to a contact on wifi = Success
Disconnected Then had him follow above steps to switch to 3g
Initiated a FT from 3g to a contact now using 3g = success
Received a FT from same contact via 3g and wifi = success

Power cycled my Phone
As described by iWebz I received the wifi warning without adding Phone (facetime) to 3gU again
After adding to 3gU I had the original issue of a fail after 1 ring
Removed from 3gu and works great.

Not with facetime, it does work with iTunes and the app store. I downloaded a few TV shows using unrestrictor on my iPhone 4. Nice to have it back!

this thread is a year old.. Skype video has worked over 3g without 3G unrestrictor almost as long...
