iPhone X Anyone upgrading to the iPhone 11 Pro from an iPhone X?

I'm pretty underwhelmed. Thought I knew score going in, but the screen is neigh on identical? Either my unit has a lower than average rated screen (although I did notice this in store and compared display models) or the much vaunted 600-1300 nits or w/e is in reality barely any different.

Also was trying some HDR video and similar effect. Using the device feels the same, so really all we have is the better camera I guess. Wow I can't imagine how awful an upgrade it was from X to XS :p

So did anybody make this move and want to share their initial impressions? I am contemplating going from X to 11 (non Pro). I like the slightly larger screen. The max is too big for me.

I am having second thoughts after downloading iOS 13 and seizing the deep blacks in dark mode.
Of course, upgrading to the Pro is also an option, but I am just liking that middle sized phone with the 6.1” screen.

The Max and 11 are practically the same size just FYI. Although one screen is 6.1" and the other is 6.5", since the bezels are thicker on the 11, the width of the actual phones are practically the same (the Max is taller though).

I’m upgrading to an 11 Pro from the X. I would like a better camera system and the X is not impressive and slow to take pics if it ever focuses correctly. Every two years for me. The 11 Pro should be great for that reason.

I upgraded from the X to the 11 Pro today and so far other than the vastly improved camera and slightly better speed performance there is not a massive difference between the two phones. I still own the X so I have been doing several side by side tests tonight. I had considered buying the 11 rather than the Pro and save myself £320 while gaining a 128gb handset over the 64gb. I was not sure I would be happy with the drop in screen quality and I do enjoy having the telephoto lens option. Not 100% sure I made the right decision but the handset is gorgeous but will end up hidden inside of a case. There is a definite increase of screen brightness but mainly visible in a dimly lit area, in normal light both look very similar.
