You mean I have to discuss the actual subject of the thread? Now that's really disappointing.

I keep my touch in the bag that came with my 3G iPod. When it's not in the bag, I use it naked. When I'm in the bag, I don't use it at all.

HOLY CRAP!!
How did you get a 3G iPod?!?

Dude, he's obviously joking.

I use the bag/pouch that came with my 30GB 5.5G iPod. Fits perfectly into it.

You have to understand that when speaking of iPods, '1G', '2G', '3G', etc., all refer to the generation; for example, right now the iPod classic is on it's 6th generation (6G), the iPod nano is on it's 3rd generation (3G), the iPod shuffle is on it's second generation (2G) and the iPod touch is on it's 1st generation (1G). A 'generation' in iPod terms refers to a major overhaul in the design of the player, though not merely changes in colours and capacity (so the 32GB iPod touch, despite being introduced months after the 8GB and 16GB models, is still part of the 1st generation).

I bought and use a bestskinsever clear skin for mine. Never use anything else and it looks as new as the day I unboxed it. I just put my 32GB in my pocket with my keys and loose change and nothing will damage it.

I highly recommend BSE. I have one on my Treo and my dad's 4th gen, They add no bulk to the device and even prevent a large amount of fingerprints too. I like the BSE brand because they are virtually the same as all the others but at 1/4 the price. They're so inexpensive you can buy two or three compared to something like invisible shield.

I thought I'd be really different and buy some iPod Socks. Haha, not sure they were worth £20, but they look nice, and not many people have them!

:)

Do they cover the back, too?

I think we both were joking about other peoples comments man no explanation needed LOL:D

i do! i just carry the cloth if there are any smudges. i might try the bag option with my macbook's black microfiber cloth... i remember the iPod Video (5.5 gen) had a microfiber pouch. wish they have one for the ipod touch. cheers!

Naked? Pretty much. No Bag necessary.

I use the invisibleSHIELD which I've been 100% satisfied with. My iPod keeps its amazing look and is fully protected (body shield). I've never put my touch in a case and it's probably in better condition than most cased iPods because of how amazing invisibleSHIELDs are.

Do invisibleShields cover the back, though?

I think a nice skin for the back and a shield for the front is nice. Though I don't think its a big deal to get a few scratches. It all depends on how you are when you handle it.
