Please elaborate?

I'm simply saying that Activity Monitor shows what's currently running. Going through processes there won't show you if there are additional applications you may have that are 32-bit, but aren't currently in use.

and am sure there will be no rosetta-type option...

Why would there be? Apple has given notice in advance and hasn’t stated unequivocally that 32-bit support will be gone in macOS 10.14 (just not “without compromises”). Rosetta was there to speed up the transition to Intel CPUs when they made the switch.

macOS has 64-bit support for well over a decade now. Software that is still not available in 64-bit will either never be updated, in which case there is no point to a transitional arrangement, or will be converted in the foreseeable future.

i know that, that's why "i'm sure..." :D

So what is the point? Run a command to block 32bit apps? If there is not a 64 bit option what do you do?
If you’re working in a business environment, it can take several months to provision licenses for alternative applications. Being able to “test” ahead of the developer release in June could be quite helpful. I’m currently acquiring Office 2016 licenses to phase out 2011 in anticipation of the 64-bit transition. Being able to test allows time for course corrections before I potentially render my staff of 20 dead in the water this fall.
