Anyone waiting for the Nike +?

Ok what does this mean?

They (apple) just charged me but it still says preparing for shipment and delivery 11/11.

Just curious if my delivery date will move up since I thought they don't charge us until they ship....

Mine was charged last Friday; shipped today for delivery tomorrow.

Perhaps your delivery will be a week ahead of schedule.

I hope so....I was going to go to Apple Store tomorrow to try and get one.....but not now.....hopefully I will get shipping info soon.
 
Do you have to carry the phone for the first few runs to "calibrate" it or is the GPS ready to go out of the box?

Got mine as well. Only complication is the Nike+ didn't ship with 3.1, so I had to first set it up as a new Watch, update to 3.1, then unpair and set up from a previous back up... At least I hope that's all I'd need to do!
 
Something funny happened me yesterday. DHL is the transport company who is gonna bring me my watch, right? So yesterday I received an SMS message from an unknown number where said if I wanted to receive my package in a shoes store!!! I needed to answer at the SMS (which I didn't do obviously) Yes really!!! It's a real store relatively close to my house... but now I'm wondering... am I gonna receive a sleepers instead of my watch???? Hahaha do you imagine??? It was very funny ... well definitely not...

i tried to reserve nike+ with apple store app. But it shows no availability in Munich, Germany.

So i ordered on nike store online. black/volt 42mm was just available since 9:10am (black/volt
has so far not been available at all).

Got email and they say approx. delivery on November 2nd. ! Sounds great.
Hope this will stay so.
 
Just received my Nike watch. Out of curiosity is there way to check watch manufacture date? I tried chipmunk and sndeep pages but got no results.

No. Coming from an existing Watch, and wanting to move my settings and activity info over, I had to unpair my first Watch in order to make a back up. When I paired the Nike+ the first time round, it will only show my backups from an earlier watchOS, not the most recent one.

And so the deal with the Nike+ version and non movable complication. There are two "exclusive" Watch Faces with the Nike+. There is a Nike+ complication specific to these two faces you couldn't remove. That's it.

You could still add the Nike+ Run Club complication to the other faces, and I suppose Siri will still respond on other Watches to start a run.

I tried to restore my Nike+ backup on my Series O. Went through ok, but alas no Nike anything apart from the NRC app that was already there.

I used to live down the street from an Apple Store but moved out in the country this year and I'm 2 hours away from one.......and I have to work the next few days

Nike charged me last night & ship it as well , will be delivered today.. call Nike and see what's up. They are helpful
 
Well I just checked apple site. No updates....still says 11/11 delivery but they charged my card yesterday.

Well just got UPS shipment update. Departed today and I will have it on Monday 10/31.

Happy to get it on Monday.

interesting. I ordered today (9 am german time) and my credit card was charged immediately. Also 2nd Nov. arrival date.
 
Hoping to find one at a Best Buy soon. Their stock on Series 2 watches has been horrible though.
 
I just checked the Apple Store app and all versions show as available at the 5 Minneapolis area stores.

They put a hold on your card when you first order. I had that happen but then it drops off until they ship. Mine says delivery on nov 2nd and supposed to ship today just no movement yet. And the nearest store with one in stock is over 100 miles away and I gotta be at work at 9am
