I believe I'm also at about 55-60% after a day of use. I also sleep with mine on. I use the Sleep+app.
My daily routine so far has been:
Put on charger in the am while getting ready for work for 30-40 minutes.
100% charge when I leave the house(at 7am)
At about 70-80% when I return home(5-7pm)
If I workout or go for a run,at about 60-70% after.
Put on charger while showering.
Back to 100% within an hour.
Go to sleep with it on.
At around 92% when I wake up.
I find it charges about 20% every 20-30 minutes.
So I think I'm only charging it maybe 2 hours per day.
I have a question about the Nike model, that I think I know the answer to, but I am not 100% on.
Apart from the unique Nike branded watch faces and Nike app, this acts exactly like a regular Series 2 watch, right? i.e. If I didn't want to use the Nike fitness app, I could just ignore it. The messages like "Are we running today?" etc sound great, but I am guessing that's only if you use Nike watch faces etc.
I am asking because I really like the colour scheme, but I may get different bands, and more importantly, these are actually in stock in the UK whereas the Space Grey 42mm (with Black band), are not.

Just ordered three black/grey nike 42 after seeing it in stock at John Lewis, uk. Oops... Now final thoughts as to whether it's worthwhile... !
iStockNow seems to suggest that there are plenty of Nike Watches in Apple stores all over the Uk. Its the other models that are in extreme shortage
I was just in local NJ Mall store and they had all sizes in all colors Nike. Nike.com also has most all combos. People selling them on eBay for $600 are in for a rude awakening.
No idea. Was at the mall for lunch and tried it on. They had all sizes and I think they were out of one of the colors strap in larger watch but had everything else.
I see a lot of 38mm in Apple stores in Va and in Best Buy. 42 seems to be the one having the supply constraints, or it is the most popular size. I went with the 38 this go around.
Am waiting for the 42mm Nike+.

Did you check the Nike website? I looked yesterday and they had all of the 42s available for immediate shipping. I did not check the 38s.

Doesn't look like they offer it here in the U.K. anyway unless I'm looking in the wrong place.
