You have to remember.

If the iPad was 9" is would be the perfect size for many
If it was 11" it would also be the perfect size for many

Such is the way of the world :D

I think that the size is perfect for iPad. A tablet bigger than 10 inch will look odd and is uncomfortable for daily use. Apple might come out with smaller versions, but bigger ones are highly unlikely.

No, I wouldn't want a bigger iPad just like I don't want a bigger iPhone. If Apple bought out bigger sizes then I wouldn't upgrade unless they also bought out the existing sizes as well.

I could be tempted by a smaller (7") iPad though :)

If the iPad came in every possible configuration there would still be awful commentary on some other grounds.

Such is the way of terrible posters.

A 55" to replace my Plasma display would be great.

LOL!

When the iPad first came out, my Apple store had one of those giant "Fake" iPads in the window.

I went in to buy one, and the sales guy asked me which iPad I wanted. (16GB, 32GB, etc).

I answered that I wanted the one in the Window. The big one.

Seriously though. I do a lot of work on my iPad. I'd love to have one in the 12-13" range with the same 4x3 aspect ratio as the current models.

I'm not so hot on the smaller screens. Once you get much below the current size, typing becomes a 2 finger affair. I have a Kindle Fire, and even at 7" it's too awkward to do lengthy typing on. At 7" it's too big for pockets, so I end up bringing my "full sized" iPad instead of the Kindle. Since I'm carrying around a case or portfolio anyway, the larger size (say 12" screen) wouldn't be that big of a deal as far as portability goes.

It's already pretty heavy to hold in bed. If they make it, that's fine, but I probably wouldn't buy anything bigger than 12". Even then, the screen feels fine for a tablet. I have a desktop with two 23" screens at home, and two 27" cinema displays at work, my apple tv is hooked up to a 60" plasma. I know what it feels like to have big screens, and honestly the portable ipad is fine with me.

My iphone 4S on the other hand could use a slightly bigger screen.

How about a 21 inch

I am an architect, and I would love a much bigger screen, just to be able to show my clients blueprints, renders, images of their projects without having to zoom all over the tiny Ipad screen, I would also save time and paper! I waste a lot of paper on blueprints, because screens are so small that you can't see details. I bet many designers out there have similar problems, you just can't sell designs in such small formats.

I think the size now is pretty perfect, perhaps a 10.1 but won't complain over a fraction of inches.

smaller actually. i think the current size is a bit too much for my needs/wants out of a tablet device.

Yes, I want an A4 iPad for reading PDFs.

Even if an ebook is also available in reformatable version, I will read the PDF to get a truer experience.

Absolutely. What I'd really love would be if the next iPad had an 11.6 inch screen and an attached keyboard, and ran a full version of OSX instead of iOS. Man, I'd even be willing to pay like $999 for something like that!

the size of display on iPad seems enough for me. I am a digital artist and video editor I don't see why I need them to work on iPad. iMac or MBP for for my digital artwork and video editing.

I'd like a little bigger. I actually like the size of the Microsoft surface although they seem completely clueless and it's doomed to failure.

I'd like a 10.7" iPad. There already are cases with Bluetooth keyboards.

I am certain that apple is working towards converging Mac OS and iOS. The spectacular failure of the MS Surface may postpone it because MS will convince everyone that it doesn't work. My prediction is the converged device is 2 yrs out.

For my personal usage, the current size is perfect - large enough to get a lot of pdf reading done, small enough to be portable. I quite like the smaller tablets, though. My husband has a Samsung 7" and it's so much lighter when you're on the go and a bit more discrete. I can see the attraction of a larger one, too, but that wouldn't be for a choice for me.
