Man, Fedex is inconsistent. Mine hasn't changed from "departed Memphis" (I'm also in Raleigh).
I live in South Fl and mine is in the local FedEx facility since 11:24 last night. Its already passed through the dest sort facility. Is there a chance I'll get it today? It hasnt been updated yet with on truck for delivery or anything. I got the email from Apple also.
I'm in Charlotte, N.C. Mine is showing being at the local Fed facility since 1:53 AM. It's scheduled for delivery today by 3 PM...supposedly.
You should be fine. Mine says delivers on 23rd by 10:30 a.m. and it is also "at dest sort facility" in Atlanta...and i'm in Macon.
Mine deliver on 23rd by 3PM to Atlanta. Still stuck at Fort Worth, TX since 6AM on the 22nd. Haven't change yet, I called up and they told me there was a mechanical problem in the plane and that there no scan in Atlanta yet so it would be delay for until tomorrow.
Mine still shows as at dest sort facility in ATL, but wife just called and said it was delivered to the house in Alpharetta a few moments ago (Fedex guy said it was "the first of the day" but that he had many more to go). She will drop it by my office in an hour or so. Hope activations are going through. 
Yeah I'm in Savannah GA, and my package departed Memphis TN yesterday at 4:30...and hasn't arrived anywhere yet. Usually it goes to Atlanta, then to Savannah, but it must be floating around somewhere.
I do remember a similar situation last time I ordered something from Apple, a package left Jacksonville and never arrived anywhere else for over a day. Then on the day it was supposed to arrive, it magically appeared as "On truck for delivery". Who knows!!

After being told it was at the final sorting facility near my office now I am told my phone is at the Atlanta airport and won't be delivered today...
I'm in albany, had no tracking information for 3 days. FedEx finally updated at 4:30 this morning (local time) saying billing information recieved... nothing else. estimated delivery of june 24by 4:30. looks like it won't get here today. ordered from att regular site. still haven't recieved a email from att about it being shipped.

I have one that left Memphis on the way to the Birmingham, AL sort facility last night at midnight and another that has been at the sort facility, both emails I received yesterday that they would be delivered today by 10:30 am - am waiting with high anticipation - will update accordingly if they show up; neither tracking number has changed but I'm hoping the computers are just behind!
Looks like mine is stuck with yours - I'm hoping there's just a lag time in the scanning activity updating and that they will magically appear later this afternoon.
Edit: Barely had I posted this and I got a 6:11 scan "At dest sort facility - ATL!" w00t!
People who have iphones in status of "At dest sort facility" should be ready to receive there iphone, a person who just had there iphone delivered was in the same state. So it seems it's taking a while to update on FedEx tracking page.
Don't be so sure. Mine was "at dest sort facility" yesterday as of 1:28am and since then it has taken 32 hours to go over 100 miles in the wrong direction to another facility and get stuck there.

WTF?! I just got off the phone with FedEx. They said my phone left Louisville at 5:40 this morning. When I asked further, he said it went from Indy to Louisville over night, but according to the tracking info it was sitting in Louisville for a whole day yesterday, and then was moved to indy just to come back?!
He said it's scheduled for delivery tomorrow, which I guess I can't be too upset about since that was the original date anyway, but then I really wish Apple hadn't gotten my hopes up with the June 23rd email I received.

After getting such different information I called again and got a supervisor. He said their tracking system is messed up and he said if I hold a few minutes he will check into it for me. He came back and said he can confirm it is on a truck for delivery. They really need to stop toying with my emotions!!
Anyone in TN or Nashville had fedex show up with their iPhone? I also got the word that it wouldn't be delivered today from a rep on the phone. Damn

damn, how are floridians getting theirs before georgians? lol ours both came from either tenn, or indy, was there an option for overnight shipping when bought off apple.com? thats where i ordered.
That is how I feel. I live just outside of Nashville and it is already at the Nashville facility and mine won't be delivered today but people in FL are getting them LOL. What madness

There wasn't an overnight shipping option. Mine was even stuck in Alaska for over a day!
Maybe we have more FedEx hubs to account for all the old people.
