Loving the White and glad I got that - no regrets. Now only not sure if I should have got red smart cover instead of navy or cream.

I still love my white 64gb ipad with wifi and 3g from ATT. I'm getting the boyfriend to install a ghost shield on the back and probably the front. Love the white ipad with the green smart cover :)

I thought the white looked a little toy-ish -black more pro looking IMO.

I bought black, but I wish I would've gone with white. I didn't get to see the white before I bought it so I wasn't sure that I'd like it... When I did actually see it I loved it. I'm not unhappy with the black though.

I bought black and I'm so glad I did. Just been to the store to see the white one and it looks tacky I think. Looks like a matte finish, and plastic. I'm so glad I went for the black with red leather :)

I want to swap

Hi brought the white 32GB iPad 2 ..... but using it more I wished I had the black. Matches my iPhone, Comp and other electrical equipment .... well thats just me. I have a 14 day return policy so hopefully they restock and ill swap.

Anyone else feeling the same?

Hi Zelnaga. I am the opposite, i got the Black 32Gb Ipad 2 Wifi only but want the white. I am in Sydney area. How about you? Are you still willing to do this?

I have been hovering between colours. At first i thought black was the one. Then I saw white in a store and preferred that. Then I went back to an Apple store and started making a more studied comparison.

As a fashion statement, white looks the coolest. However, on a practical level its no good, black is best. I found the white surround was totally distracting and was always in my peripheral line of sight when looking at the screen. You do not get this with black as the black surround is totally unobtrusive with screen and surround blending as one. A much better viewing experience. :apple:

One other potentially worrying point was it looked to me as if the white surround was starting to "yellow" after extensive in store handling.

lol i read that as "bleeding" the first time. I've got an unopened ipad2 sitting in my drawer (waiting for my case to arrive, I'm anal like that) and i'm paranoid about all the stories about light bleed.

Once you go black, you don't go back..... I love the white look (have a white iphone 4) and also white JBL speakers but the black looks sleek, Also the white reminded me of a kindle and felt cheap once I had it in my hands. Apple does a great job of making the white look sexy on their sites and ads.

I'd advise anyone who is stuck on this color thing- play with the different colors before you buy. Spend at least 5 mins looking at sites, watching videos and tilting it for glare. made my decision much easier.

I initially bought a White 32GB before seeing them in the store and on display.
I stood in line at Bestbuys and they did not have any on display at the time.
Went to a local Apple store and played with the white display unit and realized I hated white. Sold mine and ordered a black one.

The white is growing on me and I like it better now that I put a TPU case on it, but still would have preferred black.

BTW - I preferred the white iPhone 3G/3Gs to the black but those white iPhones still had a black front bezel.

I am really regretting buying a black iPad 2, but it was the only color my apple store had. I thought it might grow on me but it hasn't. Im in a struggle right now trying to get a white. Does anyone have any suggestions to what I should do?

See if any stores have any in stock (B&H and Macmall have some I heard)

Hell naw. Like seeing your future wife for the first time, as soon as I saw the white iPad in the keynote, I knew instantly, that it was the right colour for me.
I never had to convince myself otherwise.
My advice? If you have doubts about it, then go black, to save any pain down the road.

Bought the Black Ipad when it came out and dropped and cracked screen. Bought the White Ipad this week and notice that you don't see the finger prints as much.

I'd love to have a metallic lime green iPad :D I wish there was a company that could do that. (And not the crappy ass Colorware garbage. Sorry but their stuff looks like ass and they have terrible looking colors).

EDIT: Hm...after visiting their site again out of curiosity it seems like they have an improved color selection now (as long as you go with the metallic paint, the regular paint still looks like ass and comes in colors such as brown turd, 1980's computer beige and salmon pink, barf).

I was happy to see a nice lime green metallic background on an iPhone 4.
