Sorry to all who like it, I kept this case less than 24 hours. I had high hopes for it - it's one of the only clear cases with lay on the table design, and I had read bad stuff about the Belkin and Griffin versions.

The "bubble" is basically where the rubber is making contact with the phone, you wiggle the case around and it disappears.

The problem is just that though - it's a terrible fit, loose all over. You can see in the pics in this thread that the top and bottom edges are rounded, there is actually a gap between the case and the bezel there. I carried the phone in my pocket for a few hours, and there was already a ton of dust and lint that had worked its way not just into the bezel, but even to the back of phone where it was just begging to scratch up the aluminum.

Back to Best Buy - speck candyshell now.

Mines not loose...sure you didn't put it on your 4s?

Hmmm the fit is tight? I bought a Belkin Grip Candy and I love it, but I also love a good clear case.

I'll just test out the Rocketfish when I get my phone!

I have this case in clear and frost/black. Great case, fits nice and tight. No watermarks but I'm afraid the clear one will yellow after a while.

I bought this case, and it is marvelous. It keeps the aesthetic design showing while minimizing risk from drops and eliminating them from scratches.

me too.

I picked this up at Best Buy and I am surprised at how happy I am with it.
I thought it would be a temp case but now I think it just might stick around
I'm not having any of the issues mentioned here. If you want a clear case I say yes.

can people with the black iphone 5 post some more pics with the case. I wanna see how bad the watermarking is.

Sorry, all I can do at the moment. It's not bad at all and the case fits beautifully. Also, I got mine as a open box, defiantly worth the money.

Wow. I'm shocked to hear that about yours. Mine is not loose at all. It fits perfectly and there is no gap by the rounded corners. I also thought this would be a temporary case and may keep it.

Appreciate the photo. Do you have any more from different angles? Also, what are your thoughts on the case? Good fit? Too bulky?

I really wish someone could make something like the Desmay Slight but with a small lip/edge around the screen...

Case is a good fit. Not bulky at all. If you have had a bumper case on the 4/4s just exactly like that.

Nice, if it is gel like though does it have to much grip where like it like is hard to pull out of your pocket? And you think it's flexible enough to fit with a body shield?

i haven't slipped it in my pocket yet so can't comment on that. But I can already tell it'll be pretty hard pulling it out of the pocket. i don't have a full body shield so I cannot comment on that.

I do have a SPG screen protector on the way so I'll post up another after I get that installed.

You had to have gotten a defective one. Mine fits perfectly and you seem to be the only dissenter right now.

Not saying your's wasn't a bad fit, but it had to be an anomaly. Good fitting case and looks good. May get dirty after a while, but if so, it's on to something else.

I got the black one, didn't see the clear in store when I went last week. Will probably swap out.

I bought the black rocketfish soft shell case, as I KNOW I would need some sort of temporary protective case until the better ones come out.

That said, I actually like it thus far! I may keep it even as a permanent instead of temporary case, depending on how it holds up.

I have always had bumpers in the past, but decided to go the case route in case the back really is THAT susceptible to scratching.

I bought the same case at Best Buy and I've been pleasantly surprised with it. The semi-hard rubber is not sticky at all, and feels like a nice compromise between plastic and rubber. Looks good on the phone too, no complaints yet.

I almost bought this today, but the extra material between the Lightning connector and speakers may be problematic when it comes to connecting the 30-pin to Lighting adapter. Only speculation right now.

I bought the Rocketfish Soft Shell in Black over the weekend and it's a decent temporary solution. I have no gripes with the case except for the areas where the case covers the power and volume buttons. As a result, the buttons have become more difficult to press.

I bought the black version and it's surprisingly nice. It's basically a matte black TPU affair, not unlike last year's Incipio NGP, but sleeker and much more nicely sculpted and finished IMO.

I bought the clear one and the one with black sides and clear back. I like them both. There is a little bit of looseness on the top and bottom, can only tell if you look for it. Already tried a slider and candyshell and returned them both. Just cant keep the back of this phone covered up!

After using both I think I like the look/feel of the black sided clear back case. I just know the all clear one will yellow eventually, only bummer with those kind of cases.
