17" MBP delivered 10 seconds ago
now need to wait another 5 hours till I'm home
I'm having mine delivered to the office... I was too nervous to have it delivered to the house in case no one was there at the time.
My wife works at home and as a freelance consultant I'm not at the same office each day

Don't know about his wife! But if I instructed my wife to do anything at all, she'd not only open it, it would be kidnapped and held for ransom by the time I got there

Once it goes to "Order Processed" It should leave the factory at the next time the trucks run. I've never had one sit as "ready for FedEx" (they don't ship via UPS in the U.S.) for more than 48 hours. Once it's on it's way, it should be within the shipping window Apple quoted you. In my case, I paid for 2-3 day shipping. It left the day after "Order Processed" and was in my hands 2 days later. (4 business days total)
At this point if I were you, I would try to track a parcel by using apple's order reference number.
I got my MacBook Pro like two hours ago, everything's fine so far
Ok, my MBP just arrived today. Though I am extremely angry.
The UPS guy just left the package OUTSIDE our flat
It was out for delivery today, so I have been refreshing the tracking website frequently. About an hour ago, I could see it was delivered and signed by "KRITEN". The package was shipped to my girlfriend Kristen but I knew that she was in school the whole day, she could not have been home to receive and sign for the package.
So I quickly called my gf up and she said she wasn't home at all and didn't know anything about the package.
So I got extremely nervous and asked my gf to rush home asap when she had her class break. (she lives 10-15 minutes walking distance from school)
She went home and found the package right outside our flat about 2-3 meters from the pedestrian walk!!!
I was really angry and called UPS right away. After waiting in line for nearly 20 minutes, I got through and talked to a support lady. I told her the story and demanded to see the proof of delivery and the signature. Of course, she could not give me a good explanation why at 1600£ machine was left outside my door without authentic signature. But she promised me to have her supervisor call me back later today.
Now I'm calm down a little bit, looking forward to coming home to inspect my new MBP but seriously it could have ended in a disaster easily, I intend to follow-through with a formal complaint to UPS. Obviously they are doing this all the time.

Just ordered a macbook pro 7 days ago and it was due to come today the 14th March, Spoke to UPS customer services who advised it's not been scanned and I needed to speak with Apple, when I told them it showed that it's showing up as Castle Donnington, United Kingdom they insisted I needed to speak with Apple and get a tracking number.
Spoke to Apple and they called CPS and now they are saying I should get the parcel on the 15/03/11.
Looks like it's going to become an esculation process where i'm going to complain and end up wanting to sent the product back if this goes down a negative route as i've been hearing all sorts of horrible things about CPS as a company I will keep you guys well updated anyone else with bad experiences?

Well still not received, had a call to say my MacBook Pro is in Leeds however doesn't mention anything on the tracker this is becoming a mistery, maybe there's hope after all we will see

Shipped today and is showing Kuhne & Nagel Spedition s.a r. for the MBP and Syncreon Technology for the AEBS.
Estimated delivery on the 26th, although I'm hoping it will be much sooner than that.
Has anyone else ordered items in a similar way to myself and did it arrive before Apple's estimate?

Got my 17" MBP last week!!! LOVE IT!
I actually got it one day earlier then what Fedex stated. Luckily someone was home to sign for it. Sucks to hear all these horror stories with things holding up shipment/delivery.

Received it Tuesday by TNT However CBS didn't update the status to say it was getting delivered but it did say delivered once i received it. I'm happy again now and loving my 13"
