True! My previous Apple product came with UPS, not FedEx...
Mine yet to ship (to UK). Ordered it on the 25th. My girlfiend gets back to the UK from HK on the 15th. It'd better be here before then or I won't know which one to pay attention to!

Yeah, I am hoping that the exception is just that its between arriving in Germany and making it to a depot or something, so they cant give me a delivery estimate. If it is ruined or something i won't be happy!
It hasn't actually arrived in Germany but is still in China. The update you see for Germany is just an advance clearance that UPS do.
Your next update should be the export scan in China. The exception status will then go back to normal. Nothing to worry about.

Nice. Same for me too (with the day early hope). Mine ended up going to Newark, NJ and usually FedEx can get stuff to me from the Newark hub in 1 day no matter what FedEx branch is delivering it. Here's hoping it hits the Apple 3/2 date and FedEx was wrong with the 3/3
I guess the guys over in Shanghai work over time because I got my 'Prepared for Shipment' update in the order page about 7pm Shanghai time. I should have my tracking number in the morning.
