Although it does not hinder the device in any way, it is extremely annoying. My IP4 had it on the back of the device. Went to the apple store and he 'fixed it' which lasted for a few days. Went back again and they replaced it.

It's not a big deal mate just call it in and have them fix it/replace it.

Interesting. I seem to have fixed mine. I put a weighted object (not very heavy, wouldn't want to damage the screen ect) onto that exact part of the iPad 2 overnight and it's been firmly in place for over a day now. Hope its fixed for good because this iPad other than that is nearly perfect, great screen, VERY minimal backlight bleed.. perfect back ect

I am completely appreciative of how helpful and giving Apple is.. but I could never return a product when it has, IMO, small problems that really don't affect the user-experience whatsoever.

If it cuts you or gets in the way of a case or affects screen quality of something, sure. But it clicks sometimes?

I guess I just don't care as much.

Call me crazy but when I spend $600+ on a product (especially an Apple product) I expect it be structurally and mechanically sound, and I expect it to stay that way for a lot longer than two months. I hold Apple to a higher standard than most other brands out there. It's sad that consumers can't expect their same level of product quality and customer service from other major industry corporations like Microsoft, Dell, and Toshiba, but that's just the way it is and it has a lot to do with why Apple is incredibly successful. So when I spend my hard-earned money on a product whose quality I have justifiably higher expectations for, and then two months later I start to see any sort of defect in that product, you can bet I'll be taking it back for a replacement. I'd rather do it right now than a year from now when the problem is substantially worse and I have to pay to get it fixed since it's out of warranty. Seems pretty normal to me.

Mine has give in that location, but no noise. Kind drives me nuts cause I keep playing with it when watching a video or reading in my bed. I keep forgetting to run on a light and actually look at it, just did, defiantly some give.

No clicking noise on mine.....If I press down hard in that area it has a little "flex" to it that is not noticeable in other areas. I would have never noticed if it was not for this thread. No issue for me as the flex is very minor and would not be noticed unless looking very closely for it.....

i cannot say for sure but i think i fixed my issue by playing "tiny wings". maybe by pushing the glass it fixed itself since mine isnt making the popping sound much.
