Forgot what forum I was in. I was referring to the pad, not the phone with the page refreshing stuff.
Find in page works much better on the pad, by the way. Seems like the iPhone Safari has issues displaying the results properly on some pages... CNN for example.
Funny that sceenshot about AirPrint says multitasking iOS devices only then lists the iPod Touch 2nd Generation.

Also in the Sounds Settings a new option for the volume of the ringer and alerts to be or not be affected by changes using the volume buttons.
May be more stuff but on my 3G those are the only chnages I'm seeing.

With the question mark at the end, are asking or telling us we could have up-to 20 apps?
I believe the iPad only supports up-to 16 apps.
I've had this in Safari for a very long time WITHOUT jailbreaking. But it's about time that Apple has decided to put in their own implementation of this. I hope it works just as good as what I have now.
I just re-read the article on Engadget, your correct. I don't know where I read 16, but 20 is even better.

Does this mean that I could go to sleep listening to the iPod at a low volume and still have my alarm go off at the highest volume?
Are they being nice and enabling this on the 3G, or only the multitasking iPhones/

Hasn't it always worked like this? I recall the ringer and alert volumes to be totally separate from the music volume control (at least with headphones in)
Well that's one step closer, at least we know the Apple team ran across that area of iOS and remembered that it existed and tossed in something new, maybe in another year or two...
Yeah, gotta love how Apple explicitly says "for any iOS device that supports multitasking", when the 2nd gen touch clearly doesn't support multitasking.
can someone explain how to use airplay? I have 4.2 on ipad an iPhone I tried both music an video but I don't even get the icon to share..... can you not share between the iPhone and iPad?
