Hey guys I have AT&T/directv and can’t watch my local football games. Cause of some stupid policy, is there anyway to show my location in a different area then I really am so I can watch my game? Or does anyone have any suggestions how I can watch my game on my phone?

Your location is determined by your GPS coordinates. The only way to change your coordinates IS change you location.

Would a VPN do it?

This is easy to do on an Android device, but impossible to do on an iOS device without jailbreaking it.

This is probably something Apple does not understand why anybody would want to do, kind of like in the beginning Steve Jobs did not understand why anybody would want to block a phone call.

It can be done using a mac and an iPhone. No jailbreak required.

I haven't personally tried it on the most recent adidas confirmed drops (where you are required to be in 'the zone' and you spoof it accordingly) but it was definitely working for me still at the start of the summer.

I can't speak to sports games, but I use a VPN when traveling all over the world that connects me to my home internet. I've never had any issues. Most of the streaming services I use check your IP address NOT your location.

How do I connect to my home internet?

I looked at the "Fake" application you posted about.

But it seems to me it would not do what the original poster is asking about.

Any application in the App Store must adhere to Apple's standards, which means you cannot over ride the device's satellite connections for the purposes of making it appear you are somewhere you are not.

I have only seen a real GPS-spoofing application in the jailbreak applications.

It's done via your IP address. You need to have a US-based IP address to access those services.
