Without a custom ROM just try deleting the carrier bloatware found on other phones.

You do not need a custom ROM for that. Rooting will suffice. The you can remove all you want (for example, using Titanium Backup). More importantly, you do not really need to completely remove the apps. While the entire iOS is just a glorified app launcher, Android is a more evolved OS. It shows all apps only in the special App Drawer while allowing users to customize their main pages as they want. You can easily remove any bloatware from the main pages and it will never bother you again.
 
Only on this forum can you find someone who turns discussion of a desired OS feature into a full fledged indictment of a competing OS. :rolleyes:
 
I rescind my earlier comment and will say that yes, the above method with editing the backup does indeed work. Wonder what else you could do with that :eek:

I wish I knew how NoSpot worked. I'd be editing my backups like a motherfuxxor.
