Always did.

As much as I want to love this program...
amin said:iGary, are you satisfied with the quality of RAW conversion you get from Aperture 1.5? Seemed to me with the early Aperture versions that my resulting TIFFs lacked the image quality on a pixel level compared with C1. C1 did better with resolving detail, quality of noise, and color accuracy. I like the Aperture workflow and love the integration, but I am not ready to compromise on image quality with such a great alternative (C1).

pdpardue said:Okay, so I have two libraries, one with everything, and one with just the most recent i've done on the laptop... now, how do I go about taking what I have on the laptop and moving it to the main library without now going through and exporting every single project and then importing it into the master library (it's been a while since I've done the transfers and so they've added up).
Also, I want to store the master library on an external but still have the reference files the laptop if I want to play around with them. How does one accomplish that?
And lastly, I take my laptop with me, import in the field, will aperture now update the main library once it's plugged back in and transfer the new project over and leave the reference files? how does this all work?
I've not had the chance to play with this since it's been updating the previews all night now and I have to leave for work, it's amazing how much time it takes to updated 15,000+ images.
