I didn't see this posted elsewhere but it appears Apple just released an update to Aperture 3 and Prokit that fixes memory leaks among many other things. Im downloading it now...

Dunno if you can say it's an Aperture update, doesn't ProKit encompass other protools?

This update seems to have improved Aperture's ability to free up memory...

The first image shows memory utilization of Aperture while minimized to the dock and me working in Safari/Mail before the update.

The second image shows Aperture's memory peak utilization while I'm browsing large projects of RAW images after the update.

The third image shows Aperture's memory utilization after I minimize it to the dock and start working in Safari/Mail after the update.

It appears to have freed up a lot more memory than before the update.
