I dont like the way they have the foam or whatever it is inside, it should go all the way around and seal the phone to the case, the way it is now dirt and stuff can get in through the openings like the sim card slot and will eventually scratch you phone up.

Have any of the reviewers gotten any info about this case? Still holding out hope that it might work...

If you've got any questions, I would be happy to answer them :)

Sure, thanks!

1) How is the design? - fit, finish, cutouts
2) How is the Protection? - lay on the table, coverage over the sides, fit with screen protectors
3) How is the reception? - of course...

I've got the matte finish which I really like. Cutouts are all wonderful but the headphone cutout is tight.

Protection wise, there is a very minimal lay-on-the-table design and any screen protector will fit without any issues. Even thick wood skins will fit :)

I usually get 5 bars at home and while using the Apex Armor, I get 3 constant bars of reception.

Thanks. Bummer about the reception, but not that surprising given the design, I guess. Looking forward to your full review...

oooolalala :)

Ugh, that would put me at 0-1 bar then. NEXT!!!!!!

It's not "unusable". It still works fine, everyone frets over it so much. I have yet to find one aluminum case that does not defer the signal at all. Every aluminum case that I own has either lost bars or degraded the signal in decibels, I do not think there is any solution. If you want to style and sexiness, you have to be willing to sacrifice a little bit of signal loss, which is a sacrifice I am willing to make.

Actually, it would fall under the "unusable" category if you live in a place where a 22dB signal drop would put you in the "no service" category, which would probably be somewhere around the -90dB mark before putting the case on.

i live in a area where i get 1 to maybe 2 bars of service and i use a micro cell at the house, this case fall in the unusable category for me....

Now, I agree with about people that have only 1-2 bars of signal strength. What I am implying is that there are a lot of people around here that have bickered about dropping a bar or so when they have full coverage, which isn't that big of a deal.

Just did a db test. Off of phone - about 70-72, it varies - with case - 89-91 also varies. So about a -20 drop...yikes...

Aren't your going to review these as well? Even though I review a lot of stuff, your usually my go to source for aluminum cases as well. :)
