AT&T opened their network to VOIP 3G apps!!
Oh my God, really?
OH MY GOD REALLY?
EDIT: Never mind this could actually turn into a useful thread
Does this mean...? Could it be...? Tethering? Soon?
*wakes up from dream*
And what does tethering have to do with VOIP apps?
Well, it could be indicative of a pattern of At&t opening and being less restrictive of their network.
Next logical step.
But here, let me show you this diagram I've constructed....
If they allow this, then they are certainly on track to release tethering ina near future.
Ha! Tethering would be nice, but i'm not holding my breath
VOIP has nothing to do with opening their network. It has to do with the threat of a federal investigation. Even if AT&T won't admit it.
Well, "HARUMPH" to you, too.
Jesus, dad, I guess I shouldn't have speculated.
Sorry. I'll go to my room now.
In all seriousness, though, you might be right. But again, one never knows.
I can hear the wind picking up. The fire is starting.
Yeah I was surprised at that. Note to self, get a good umbrella.
Me too. It is just one less thing for people to complain about. (hopefully)
ATT Free Slingbox now
what about the slingbox??
Yeah its like when you were a kid and you refuse to break your cookie in half and then after a little "convincing" aka your father yelling at you to share the cookie with your brother you finally give in but say "But not cuz you said so". AT&T being the kid, the cookie being one VoIP, your father being the FCC and your brother being the customers and the "But not cuz you said so" statement being AT&T's official statement as of today. So yes its very childish in my eyes look at my rediculous comparison if you still have your doubts.
Were you out of breath after typing that?
Dude, he was talking about Unspoken Demise's comments. Nice comparison though.
Were you out of breath after reading that? No not really I actually thought of that off the top of my head...quite clever I think....
Yeah I'm well aware...perhaps I misquoted....w/e
The funny thing is, it read exactly like that. Like you typed it in five seconds and needed to catch your breath.
