Ok some of you might find that Apollo IM application has stopped working. Many lucky people have it working, while others get an infernal Cannot Authenticate: Cannot connect error.

Let's run a Poll to see how many people want a solution for said problem

Works fine in both versions of 1.1.3. The dev version you just have to edit the host file.

    http://www.modmyifone.com/forums/sho...t=apollo+1.1.3

in your /etc folder, open the file called hosts in a simple text editor (NOT word).

Copy and paste this at the end of the file:

    64.12.161.185 login.oscar.aol.com
    64.12.161.185 login.messaging.aol.com
    65.54.239.140 messenger.hotmail.com
    65.54.239.140 dp.msnmessenger.akadns.net
    65.54.179.216 nexus.passport.com
    65.54.179.216 nexus.passport.com.nsatc.net
    65.54.183.203 login.live.com
    65.54.183.203 login.live.com.nsatc.net
    65.55.128.48 spaces.live.com
    209.85.163.125 talk.google.com
    209.85.163.125 talk.l.google.com

    That should do it!

I voted no because it's the one app I've 'never' been able to get working. Ever.

PLUS - if you ssh into the phone via Fugu, etc. it leaves crap everywhere in the phone and deleting the app via installer doesn't remove most of it.

Um, I have 1.1.1 jailbroken, not 1.1.3. So, it still doesn't work. I already modified the hosts file using notepad, yet nothing works.
