I wish Apple could operate its own data centers and not use Google. I had to unblock a GCP endpoint in order to share binaries via Messages. It should be none of their business.

Now I'm wondering if I've been Mandellaed. I thought the App was Messages but to turn on or off blue it's iMessage in Settings??
I mean...it's not that I don't want to workout but Apple Fitness is down.
The app is Messages, but iMessage is the Apple to Apple messaging service.
I just looked on the System Status web site and it's calling it "iMessage". WTH! Which one is right?
The app is Messages, and the blue bubbles are iMessage. It’s a bit like the Files app vs. iCloud. Or the Mail app vs. iCloud Mail.
Was wondering why I got a prompt to log into game center and it kept failing.
iMessage is the protocol, Messages is the app.
Some albums load in Apple music, some don't. I almost never use Apple music, so was wondering. Some albums load on iPhone and don't load on ATV. But if I Airplay that album to the ATV the ATV will pick up the stream and play it locally, weird.
I am uncertain if this is related to my iCloud account. I had a login issue started last night with (!) an exclamation mark on my iCloud, it boots me out of all iCloud services across all my devices. Not only that, but I panicked and reset my iCloud password and forced logout all my devices in the process.

Hmmm just tried to send mail and still showing "sending message for 10 min now. apple system status page shows resolved...clearly not on my end yet.

Don't know about email (haven't had an incoming in a couple hours, but that's not unusual), but my iCloud Drive is working fine. Just uploaded and downloaded a couple items without issue -- did it just now before reading this article.
I think this outage may have been due to a system overload my children triggered – they've discovered the Screen Time ‘ask for extra time’ function and really wanted to watch another 15 minutes of Disney+ before bed… 😂😅
iCloud working as expected: glacially slow syncing, merge conflicts, missing files, bizarre error messages, unexpected offloading of most used files, etc.
