I'm guessing they made it native again? In iOS6 it basically became a web browser which made it terribly slow and inefficient.

My only gripe about the the app store under iOS 7 is that the weird UI glitch that first happened with the iPhone 5 (where pixels would flash in the keyboard) happens sometimes under iOS 7 on the iPod Touch. I need to file a bug report about it, but I think it is interesting that an old bug is resurfacing.

AppStore is much better in iOS 7, but it still has that 3 and a half icon thing. Hate that.

Not sure why this needed it's own thread...

Could've posted this in the sticky at the top of the forum.

Not sure why this needed its own post. Could have posted this in any of the numerous complaint posts about too many individual threads. ;)

I agree that it seems to have gone back native rather than HTML based, and benefits for it greatly.

Also glad Genius is dead, given it was as slow as hell and as dumb as a bag of hammers ("I see you have a Twitter app! Would you like another, crappier Twitter app?"). I don't think "near me" is any better though - I'd much rather have some kind of social feed of my friends recommendations. For instance, I'd love to flag to my Facebook friends "I really like Hero Academy, give it a go and we could play."

It's a really shame they've not fixed searching though. That card based interface. Just kill it with fire.
