My app store on my iphone 5 quit working today. My 3GS which also has iOS 6 works fine. Also my iTunes works just not the app store and I have tried even restoring my phone and setting it up as new? I have had it for 13 days and everything has worked until today. The only way I can get apps is through syncing with iTunes on my computer.

It won't load

In featured and all others there is no content except for Genius it gives me suggestions but all else is blank
The app opens and stays open. It gives me the options on the bottom featured, category,updates, ect but the screen is blank white? Purchased in updates also works and I am able to download. I get nothing even if I search for Facebook

Exact same problem here since last night. I was able to download an app update, but can't search or see anything in featured or charts. This is on an iPhone 5 as well.

Same here

Last night I had the app store stop working. Blank screen on Features and Charts but seems to be working when going to genius and updates... if I try to click on something in genius, it goes nowhere.

Tried restart, hard reset, the date trick, etc...

On an iphone5
 
Ditto. Got mine yesterday. Everything worked fine until last night. Now won't connect except for Genius and Updates. Very frustrating.
 
Same issue, began last night. Verizon iPhone 5, both wifi and cellular (LTE). Resetting all settings didn't help. Did not attempt restore after seeing it didn't help other people.

It's funny because my fiancee's App Store on her iPhone 5 works normally.
 
I wonder if this is a Verizon thing? I am having the same issue but I have two friends with iPhone 5s that have on problems with the app store and they are on AT&T.
 
Perhaps, but it's happening over wifi as well. Most likely not Verizon themselves but maybe the OS on this model phone
 
Mine is doing the same thing. Genius apps work, but nothing else will load - its just a blank white page. I was able to update an app but that's all I've been able to do.

I called Apple and she recommended I sign out of the app store, reset phone w home and power button, close the app, and reset network settings, no of which worked. She said maybe try a complete restore but I wanted to wait it out to see if it fixes itself.
 
Same thing here. Just tried on a friend's iPhone 5 sitting right next to me (both Verizon) and his worked fine.

If you are on WiFi, try toggling WiFi off and go the the app store on cellular. If that works, switch WiFi back on and see if it will work now. I did that the other day when I was getting a message that the store wasn't available. Not the same situation, I know, but wanted to pass it along anyway. :)
 
Tried all the suggested fixes (signing out of iTunes, changing date, cellular/wifi) and still isn't working :-/
 
I'm on att with iphone 5 and experiencing same issue since last night. Apps will not load when clicked on, was able to update a few apps. Every tab in the app store works, I just can't click any, they will just leave a white screen when pressed. Has to be a server issue. My wife's 4s on iOS 6 works fine in App Store.
