i hid the slider and use the "move screen to unlock function"
you can get rid of the clock like you stated as well
thnx for this app, but can it remove 'just background bars' of lockscreen clock?
like this but for 'clock'
Apply the theme with Winterboard
ahh i see what you mean. and no i do not think so. I'm assuming you'll need a theme tweak
can you post the name of theme tweak?
this is what you need like the poster stated
i meant that you'll need a theme. i do not know of one, but look ^^. clorox posted what will work for you
yesssssssss! it worked thanx a lot!!..i had tried a few but none worked before coming here..
on another note, thanx for /move2unlock cool app
Yea clear lockscreen works. Loving my 4S so much more now that it's jailbroken. Finally got my lockscreen how I like it.
When you hide the slider to unlock, are you able to slide any notifications from the lock screen, such as an SMS?
hey jordan921..can u plz tell the tweak you used to remove clock+slider?
The slider can be removed by using StyleUnlock, but it won't allow you to swipe notifications from the lockscreen. That's the issue I've been having.
For the slider I used invisible slider and yes I can still slide notifications from lockscreen.
Slider was invisible slider and the clock was lockscreen clock hide
do you still get the camera button with a double tap?
Yes you do
hide clock background
i have the same problem that 'hakuna matata' had, removing the clock background only.
in one exception, i don't want to use any theme to do that.. meaning i don't want to install the winterboard in order to apply themes.
for example, iFile can be used here, but i don't know how.
any ideas ?
If you just want to remove the clock background, not the clock itself, the file is /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/TelephonyUI.framework/BarLCD@2x~iphone.png
And if you want to remove the outer slider background, not the slider itself, the file is
I haven't needed to replace the inner slider background so I haven't looked up which file it is, yet...
Just make them fully transparent and replace the original files. And you should probably make a backup of the originals, just in case...
I am assuming there is no way to get rid of the black bar for the clock on the lockscreen WITHOUT using Winterboard.. Is this correct? I had Winterboard installed for about a day and my battery got creamed... Is there a way to do this without the need for Winterboard?
Also, I am not comfortable in deleting files. I was kind of hoping there was a tweak to install, so I could uninstall if I had to. Thanks!
COOL!.. this is exactly what i needed.. i deleted the barLCD and it worked.. thanx..
isn't it look amazing ???
all this without the need of winterboard
about the inner slider background, the file is -
about you aDRock1154, you can add '%' at the end instead of deleting the file.
full slider background hide :
clock background hide :
either way.. u should backup the files..
Lockscreen Clock Hide =)
Which font are you using?
'Walt Disney' for lockscreen clock
'fineliner' for the rest
by 'BytaFont' app
anybody know which file is for the tiny strip of transparent background behind the text on top (signal strength, carrier, clock, battery, etc)
