Hey guys,
I have 3G 4.2.1 and even if i deleted or made new transparent files in photoshop I cant get rid of the damn slider ! :D Clock bcg hidden sucesfully.
Help please :(

Does anyone know how to get rid of the shadows?

I made individual tweaks of my own that make the clock background, slider, and well all transparent, but with a background that isn't super dark, you can see lines (shadows) from where the items used to be.

Has anyone figured out where the image is that gets rid of that? It's really annoying.

Thank you tateu and love & peace for your tips. While I wasn't able to make the slider fully transparent (it still has some lines) it looks really cool.

Does anyone know how to make the Status Bar Transparent without using Winterboard? It would really make my lockscreen perfect. Here's how my screen looks right now:

i'm wondering this too. i have a line towards the top and also the bottom above the scroll to unlock.

i'd like to clean that up and get rid of those two leftover lines

Install 'no lock bars', that'll get rid off those lines for you.

Thank you :)

however, that is for people with winterboard installed :p
i found a bunch of threads and got my solution for a non-winterboard fix.

download the dropbox file from here
http://modmyi.com/forums/iphone-5-new-skins-themes-launches/818010-ios-6-locksceen-line-fix.html

inside the zip there is a folder called "non winterboard users", and in that folder is a file Shared@2x.artwork

ssh into your phone, and navigate to /system/library/frameworks/UIkit.framework
find the Shared@2x.artwork and rename it to Shared@2x.artworkBAK so you have a backup

then take the Shared@2x.artwork file from the zip you downloaded and put it in that directory

then respring

it fixed my bottom and top shadow bars
