MACRUMORS banned me because I responded to harsh criticism of from several users asking that I get banned for saying the iPhone 3G IS BUDGET. IT IS BUDGET! The phone is clearly just a refresh at best repackaged in cheaper materials and marketed to the masses. Nothing really to be excited about.

X-

I hate to say it, but I agree with you 100%. They've added 3G and GPS along with the App Store. The iPhone was cool for a bit to me, but now I'm going back to the BB Curve.

and btw when has apple ever made an ipod/iphone with a replaceable battery?

...ill tell you when: NEVER!!! thats when. what makes him think they will do it now?

idiot

has apple ever made any handheld device with a replaceable battery?

(by replaceable i mean one that a user doesnt have to take into the apple store to get replaced and something that anyone's grandma could easily do)

Front Facing Camera

I want a front facing camera then i will like the iPhone more, and higher rezz:D still buying one though ahha

3. Quit the bitching, I doubt people really have had to replace the battery. The only reason for that is if you don't have access to a charger.
Considering the iPhone is now more "business" oriented, I think it needs a user replaceable battery. How would you like to be a sales guy running around in a major city (which means using public transportation such as cab, subway, etc) and not knowing where or when you will be able to plug in for x amount of minutes to recharge?

Or what about when the battery starts to not hold onto the charge anymore? You have to send in the entire phone and wait x amount of hours/days to have it replaced instead of just running down to the store to pick up a new battery? That's totally inconvenient to me as a consumer and definitely unacceptable as a business device. Some people might be able to live with a non-user replaceable battery but I think it's a legit gripe.
