Does anyone know if the apple clear case covers the buttons? I prefer it doesn't.... Thanks in advance

Apple 11 Pro Max clear case

I've never really been a fan of clear cases, but I'm considering getting this case because this phone looks so good. I'm hoping the quality of this is good since its an apple product.
I used to dislike clear cases too and usually get the Apple leather case for my iPhones. About 6 months ago I got a clear case for my gold XS Max, and I really appreciated being able to enjoy the finish on the phone and have some protection. I got a lot of compliments too. The main disappointment was that the cased yellowed. I even tried a second brand that professed to resist yellowing, but eventually it did too. Fortunately, with a gold phone, the yellowing was not as noticeable as it could have been with one of the other color phones. I don’t now if Apple’s clear case will resist yellowing any better, but I doubt it. Maybe they will replace it under warranty when it does? Regardless, I’ll be getting the Apple clear case for the Midnight Green Pro Max I’m pre-ordering. The beauty of the phone can be seen, which has always bothered me with the leather or silicon cases.

Check out the thread for the clear Xr case. No one has noticed yellowing.
Beside making the phone looks good, the new midnight green color can be shown off as it is the new iPhone color.
I used the Supcase on my XS Max and will use it again for the 1Pro Max.
No yellowing at all, and I like the fit and finish of the case, along with the black edges. I tend to get the silver handset, so it looks nice with the black edges (I think so anyways).
I also like that it covers all edges of the phone - including the bottom, whereas other cases leave the bottom completely open....

Mine was delivered yesterday. Looks exactly like the pics at Apple haha
Well it is plastic so it does feel plasticky, but it's nice. It's hard plastic and pretty slim. I had one on an XR for awhile last year and loved it. Much higher quality than most of those Amazon clear cases.

I miss the days of bumpers! I thought the bumpers and a skin were the perfect iphone combination! (I even got a matte skin back in the day with a pink bumper and was SO in LOVE with my phone! haha!)
I’ve had an Apple XR clear case for about 9 months, still no yellowing that I can see. But to be honest it’s my least favorite case I’ve ever owned. Fingerprint magnet, almost impossible to remove as its on so tight, feels like your going to break the phone removing it. Here’s a pic of it against white paper so you can see the coloring.
