I’ve had an Apple XR clear case for about 9 months, still no yellowing that I can see. But to be honest it’s my least favorite case I’ve ever owned. Fingerprint magnet, almost impossible to remove as its on so tight, feels like your going to break the phone removing it. Here’s a pic of it against white paper so you can see the coloring.

Thanks for the pic!

Sounds like the lucid clear from Caudabe is the way to go. That’s not as tight and still great quality.

Yeah I think highly of my Caudabe Lucid Clear on my Xr and daughter’s Xr. On my daughter’s phone it proved itself for drop protection. Pop socket sticks well to it.

Mine doesn’t have many scuffs or scratches despite purse and pocket life.

But it shows fingerprints a lot like any shiny surface would. It doesn’t seem slippery to me but might to some people. It’s stayed optically clear so far. It’s as closest to a caseless look and feel as I’ve been able to get after trying clear cases from Spigen and Ringke and others. I do like Ringke but they are my second choice now.

I’ve got one on order for my green 11 Pro. The price was nice at around $20 with their launch promo they emailed me. Usually they’re $24 I think.

I like that Caudabe protects all sides. I think the Apple one leaves the end open.

Was it so tight that removing it or putting it on left abrasions on the phone? Some clear hard plastic cases on Amazon do that.
[doublepost=1568493410][/doublepost]I recommend the Spigen Ultra Hybrid. They do yellow after several months but they are somewhat slim, very protective and very affordable. I used to dislike clear cases too and usually get the Apple leather case for my iPhones. About 6 months ago I got a clear case for my gold XS Max, and I really appreciated being able to enjoy the finish on the phone and have some protection. I got a lot of compliments too. The main disappointment was that the cased yellowed. I even tried a second brand that professed to resist yellowing, but eventually it did too. Fortunately, with a gold phone, the yellowing was not as noticeable as it could have been with one of the other color phones. I don’t now if Apple’s clear case will resist yellowing any better, but I doubt it. Maybe they will replace it under warranty when it does? Regardless, I’ll be getting the Apple clear case for the Midnight Green Pro Max I’m pre-ordering. The beauty of the phone can be seen, which has always bothered me with the leather or silicon cases.
I just don’t see how it’ll get yellow as it’s not completely TPU except for the buttons. I think it’ll last quite well.
