Apple 30" Cinema HD Display with M3-Based Macs?

M4 is different! With MacMini M4 the 30" CinemaDisplay is working either with Club3D USB-C Adapter or HDMI to USB-C (powered) and Club3D Adapter, but there is an issue that the Display is not switched off in Standy, it stays grey and the LED is not on. Within wakeup the 30" is shortly switched of (1 second) and then it goes directly on.

I just bought a 2006 30 inch ACD and I have the same weird lines on dark areas using both MB Air M2 and MB Pro M5. I am using a 1510-A adapter. Wondering if one of those USB C to HDMI adapter would help.

Can you pls specify, which adapter you was using when you get the lines? DVI - Type C, or older, black one with wini display port?

For anyone experiencing these lines in dark areas, I managed to fix the issue by reducing the monitor’s refresh rate from 60 Hz to 53 Hz.

Man, you are a lifesaver! Using SwichResX I did set 53hz and it helped! Thank you so much!
