jb of course. gets harder and harder with the A5. Some say the 5.1 jb is eminent, others say could be months like the iPad 2 was.
plus Apple will release an update to 5.1 soon for the 'new' ipads..

Has anyone received a refurb with 5.1? I've got one on its way and am concerned I won't be able to JB it.

Seems like Apple was too busy getting the iPad 3 ready to mess much with the discounted 2s. I miss the jailbreak, but comparing the 3 and 2 screens together, now all I can see on the 2 is the square pixels. And the color on the 3 is striking. Amazing when you have the same page views side by side.
But the 2 is still a great tablet, no doubt.

I am sure 5.0.1 for now. They ship them crazy fast. Left China on the 26th, arrived here in Joplin the 28th (today).

I think I had some back luck in my order--my refurb iPad 2 is coming via UPS ground from California to the East Coast and is taking a week. The smart cover ordered a day later came via Fed Ex from China and arrived to my door in a day and a half. Both were ordered with Standard Shipping.

Got one yesterday as a gift for my MIL. 5.0.1. Not that it will ever get jailbroken...lol.

That makes no sense whatsoever.

How does that make no sense? I ordered my fiancé an iPad 2 and it had 4.3.5 (it was the latest iOS before iOS5). I have heard others mention that they purchased an iPad 2 that had iOS 5.1. If that doesn't make sense to you then I really don't know what to say.

How long ago was that?
