iPad Apple $349 iPad2 Refurbs - What firmware?

How long ago was that?

It was around the 14th. Although I ordered it for her through the international Apple store. When I purchased my iPad 2 in late October (2-3 weeks after iOS 5 was released), it had 4.3.5.

Hmm, still makes no sense. I would think they would all be ios 5.x by now. I'm gonna order another one. I'll post back on it when it gets here.

Has anyone received a refurb with 5.1? I've got one on its way and am concerned I won't be able to JB it.

Well it came today and it is 5.0.1! Woohoo! Already jb'd and restored from my iPad 1 backup, works and looks great! I love the refurb store.

Which one did you order?
My 2 refurbs get delivered on Monday, I hope they haven't upgraded them either! that's the only reason I ordered.
How long did it take to get yours? Mine are taking 11 days from order date to est. delivery date. ordered on Fri Mar30, will be delivered Mon Apr9. I'm hoping the longer time is not because they had to replenish stock and/or update them. 5.1 has been out a few weeks now.
they sold out of 16 wifis yesterday.

I received both today (4/3/12) and they were 5.0.1

Just got my 2nd ipad 2 Refurb. Took 2 days to ship (though said was going to take like a week) from China. It's got iOS 5.1. Fart.

same here, the refurbs all seem to be on 5.1 now. got mine today, darn. return to store.
I ordered 2, only checked one so far. but they are all probably 5.1.

Oops!, I ordered 2 refurbs, one was 5.1 but surprise!, the 2nd one was 5.0.1. one stays, one goes back!

Can people post which model and firmware they got? I'm assuming most are the 16 wifi's? Right?
Both mine were 16 wifi, one was 501, my sister ordered same model but got 5.1

Both 16GB Wifi - last week was 5.0.1, this week 5.1. And I gave the 5.0.1 to my MIL who will never jailbreak in a million years....DOH!

Edit - Got an idea to swap them but SIL updated my MIL's, too. Gha!
