Dude, that looks awesome. I love how you were able to use the original stand and make it look so elgant. Excellent work. I agree with the other posters that all you need now is another 20 flanking the other side :p

Would be sweet to see that ... plus to bad the ACD dont have a touch-screen setting ... now that would be sweet.

wow, this is exact setup I am looking for. Do you sell your adapter ? I really want one for myself . PM me if can make one for me please.

I need this!

RichP, I need this!

I crave the same setup as this. I would gladly buy the Solidworks file or the schematics from you. I am a new member and as such cannot send PMs yet.

such an awesome job.

I am really interested in getting this done for the 24" LED ACD.

Hello, I'm in the middle of trying this with a larger Cinema Display...I was able to snag a couple VESA mounts and a few bases of different sizes from a pile of old displays at work. I found this post and would really like your help.

Do you have a schematic with dimensions for this custom plate? Have an extra one? I'd be happy to pay for one!

Could you contact me via this post. Thanks!

How did you get your ACD to go into 90 degrees rotation? I mean, I thought the ACD's didn't support that mode. Or is it only the hardware (the standard stand/foot of the display) that isn't supporting the rotation?

11 years late, but in Settings below Brightness you can rotate 90, 180 or 270 degrees. Maybe not in OSX back then.
